Patriots set to put green power into play
In this article it told of how the Patriots football team is purchasing renewbale energy credits to offset the energy used to put on a game. this energy consists of lighting the field, powering the consession stands, the scoreboard, etc. i think it is very innovative for them to do this and will set a good example for sports teams in the future. this will also give a positive outlook on reducing carbon footprints to those who attend these games. Since the fans at the game will see how well this techinque is working, they may be mor einclined to follow in these same footprints. The Red Sox also said they will do their part in environmental awareness; they will start recycling bottles and plastic at the games. I’m surprised they havent already been doing this though.
